Dog Friendly Travel, Animal Cafe Goes to France

by Mary Haight on February 16, 2013

dog friendly travelIf you’ve felt stuck in the cold, trapped by drifting snow and high winds, buffeted by winter ice storms, what would you say to a little stroll through the South of France in summer right about now? Animal Cafe is offering dog friendly travel and free airfare to the France of your imagination or memories, thanks to author of Dog Trots Globe Sheron Long.

In a series of four posts, Sheron shares the adventures and explorations of her Sheltie, Chula, moving through the countryside in the South of France to her home away from home in Saint-Remy-de-Provence. There is a wonderful, original postcard series that accompanies each post, making the stories come alive.

If you haven’t had a chance to check it out, you can begin by reading how these trips to France evolved to more than dog friendly travel. There are two more entries listed below, and the final installment is coming on Tuesday February 19.

Take a break from the monotony of winter, do some serious armchair traveling — who knows, maybe you’ll be doing some traveling with your dog soon!
