Bloggers Unite for Dog Rescue Worldwide – Join In!

by Mary Haight on July 17, 2012

bloggers unite for dog rescueJuly 23rd get ready to witness bloggers unite and ignite a worldwide social media flame in a common cause to rescue dogs and save lives! Join in, share your stories of adoption, share posts you read on your social media channels – be a big part of showing people what a tremendous difference choosing adoption makes. Did you know that only 20% of dogs in households come from shelters and rescues?

Adopting a dog makes a difference not only in the life of that dog and family, but also in the hearts and minds of all the peoples’ lives that dog will touch in some way. Friends, uncles, cousins, grandparents will see how wonderful adoption is – how that dog might not have made it otherwise. They tell all their friends and neighbors. One of the first things people who love dogs ask when they meet others with dogs is “where did you get your dog?” Giving a dog a second chance is a precious gift for both the recipient and the gifter.

Bloggers Unite for Dog Rescue is a partnership between Blog Catalog, Dog Rescue Success and BTC4Animals – and all of us! Please help get the word out by tweeting and sharing this:

SPREAD THE WORD – BLOGGERS UNITE FOR DOG RESCUE – Promote dog adoption on July 23rd! http://bit.ly/pO7dZp #BtC4A

Join in this massive effort to turn the tide for millions of dogs. Be part of the solution – it’s a matter of lives!
