that's pretty freaky considering that yesterday I was in the pet shop and considered buying the trail size of the chicken to try out on jersey.

I think changing a dog's diet when they have an illness or digestive problems is difficult. It's bad enough you have to be concerned about the illness, work to change the dog over to the new food, and then he doesn't like it much. Makes you feel like you failed! My dog doesn't get exercise for his teeth as it is, and if I then fed him only the raw dehydrated stuff instead of dog cookies, I'd have to make sure he chewed his bone twice a day or his gums and teeth would never get a workout;-) Sorry for your angst, Edie Oh I was interested to see that this company is now using the same method as Stella & Chewy's, the high pressure pasturization. I just went back and put some links in, one to wikipedia that explains process.

This kind of thing makes me crazy; you think it's only the large processed commercial brands that don't pay attention to health and safety… and then something like this comes along. Having already discovered that my dog, Frankie's, freeze-dried raw food (not Nature's Variety) was ridiculously expensive and that he didn't particularly like it, I'm going back to my high quality kibble — at least it doesn't have salmonella — and cooked human quality meat (ditto) combination.

Aaaargh!!
