Since today is Valentine’s Day, I’ve got the perfect feast of dog blogs for you. Starting with an appetizer and followed by the main course: Pet News and  Views  revelled in a week long series about finding your pet friendly match from love at the dog park, to online dating and pets, even tips on how to bring the dating couple’s pets together from guest and Certified Pet Dog Trainer Eric Goebelbecker of Dog Spelled Forward.  Michele Hollow wraps things up with stories from readers on how they met and the role their pets played.  And while you’re at it, check out the lovefest video Eric has made of his dog Buddha and hear the story of this adopted helper training dog.

For dessert, Dr. V at Pawcurious has another view altogether on Valentine’s Day, taking a swipe at those just going through the motions, and comparing that to the sharing the day with your pet, where all emotions are genuine!  There was even a global poll taken that asked who would you prefer to spend Valentine’s Day with, your partner or your pet. Edie Jarolim of  Will My Dog Hate Me? conducted her own informal poll.  Pets were leading by a nose  the last time I looked.  There’s still time to vote!

That’s a wrap for this week’s Weekend Edition.  If you’re out and about and see a great pet centric article or blog you think would fit here, just let me know.
