Four more guilty pleas in this case brings the total to five men awaiting
sentencing in the biggest dog fighting ring bust in US history. The five have agreed to give up the dogs. A total of 26 people were arrested. So far, no other cases have been processed. This bust took place July 8. I guess I’d rather have this crawl through the system at a snail’s pace if that’s what it takes to get them all convicted.

Around 407 dogs were taken in the Missouri and Illinois raids, with another 100 coming from other states. The Human Society said 100 puppies have been born since the July 8 arrests.
A video taken by the Human Society during and after the raid there comes via Amelia Glynn at SFGate. You can see some of the puppies, where the dogs are billeted during their period as “evidence”, and some of the conditions found at the time of the raid.

We human beings are not necessarily humane now are we? It takes a real animal to treat any living thing so cruel and irresponsibility.
That's why I liked this video in particular…it did not just show the marks of suffering these dogs bear, but included a sense of healing beginning not just with the puppies, but with the maimed and wounded dogs–even in the less than ideal setting.
I am so sick of crying evrery single time I get on the computer and research this crap and witness the cruelty of these monsters…PEOPLE. We need $ and we need to get together and stop this NOW, not later, not tomorrow- NOW. Every pit I saw was just dying 4 some attention. I have 2 of my own. We need a good, no GREAT lawyer and people w/ power in our circle and we all need to work together. We can do this. I just need some help starting something new 4 these dogs, something where we r all connected and organized so we can seize every moment these pitts r in trouble. My name is Hathaway Christensen, ophone !-763-516-6650 or hathpluv@q.com. Lets do something, I know I am being very optimistic, but look what Ghandi did , and he was just one man. Lets get groups together in all states so we can stop this rediculous torture of one of the best breeds weve had the pleasure of being friends with.
