Have you ever wondered why you just happened to be in a place when something’s going wrong that you are capable of fixing, helping, stopping? Maybe you have and maybe you haven’t yet, but I caught this story and smiled at that thought.
Raden Soemawinata thought he had come to Brighton Pier at Melbourne’s Bayside suburb to say a final farewell to his grandmother, whose ashes were to be scattered into Australia’s waters. He was looking out over the bay when he spotted the dog…a little white bobbing bundle of nerves. Dogs don’t last long in these shark traveled waters.

Bibi the Maltese-Shih Tzu mix was lucky the 20-year-old was there, willing to help. Sue Drummond, Bibi’s dog mom, thought she had lost him. Apparently the poor woman has gone through the wringer with this adorable little mutt, who has fallen off a 100′ cliff–twice–and had to swim to a boat for help. His name should be “Trouble.” Read more and see a great series of photos here.
Being in the right place at just the right time…has this happened to you? I hope you’re smiling now, too!

Actually BiBi is NOT the dog who fell off the cliff!! That was a cocker named Buddy!! Different dog!!!
So this part of he original report was incorrect? "Bibi's amazing rescue comes just days after a dog cheated death three times when he twice fell down a 100ft cliff in Dorset and then swam nearly a mile to the safety of a yacht."
If you have the correction from the Daily Mail I'll print it here. Thanks for stopping in!
