The temp is around 74 Fahrenheit here in New England and I must say it is heaven outside, at the moment I’m leaning against the window frame longing to be outside and I’m sure every dog in my neighborhood is doing the same. However it is almost time for all good dog owners in the neighborhood to come home from work and take everyone for a walk.
In NYT today they have a story about a revitalization of an elevated railway to make it a walk way, no dogs will be allowed, “the former elevated railway along the Hudson River that is being converted into a landscaped walkway. “I fell in love with the project, with the place,” Ms. Von Furstenberg said in a telephone interview. “It’s a beautiful green ribbon that will travel from Gansevoort to the Javits Center.” Read More… No Dogs Allowed
The Mars company is coming out with some new dogs food and has published an interesting newspaper to let people and dogs know about it. “In two of those markets — New York and San Francisco — the free (fake) paper was accompanied by free (real) cups of coffee. The jest behind the paper is that it was reported and edited by dogs for dogs. From the weather forecast (“It’s going to rain men and women”) to the classified ads (“For sale: Used stick.
