I’m pretty sure this would not happen in the U.S. but the fact that it happen anywhere, in any country is just mind boggling. Please be forewarned the video is upsetting, but I think it is important that we all are reminded of what goes on when we turn away.
In case the video disappears, as they do over time, the subject referenced a so-called “artist” Guillermo Vargas who tied a starving street dog to the wall as his gallery exhibit, painting the wall in dog food with the words “you are what you read”, out of reach of the dog.
Many reports say the dog was left to die. The gallery owner denies the charge and says the dog got loose and ran back to the streets. Snopes can’t confirm the report either way.
Cruelty is not art. Even if no harm came to the dog, using him in this way, with food just out of reach, is despicable.
And one more thing: Suddenly art has been reduced to getting a reaction? The poverty of that kind of art is so shallow, I weep again – it is, after all reflective of what is happening in culture…
Note: the petition has been sent and is no longer taking names.

I saw this a while back. It’s terrible what people will do to dogs.
Yes, I had seen this awhile ago, and I think Craig said this sub-human was at it again…
but I’ll let him comment on that.
