Questions, Questions and More Questions

Questions abound about the treatment of animals, with one group saying one thing, another group saying another thing and routinely a third group chiming in with an entirely different view. It may seem like clear answers are in short supply, However I’m of the opinion that having the conversations, having the arguments are all positive moves in the right direction and the animals will benefit greatly from this.

We won’t get to transparency nor real animal welfare if we ignore the conversations or pretend they are not important. If something seems important to a group then we need to give it the notice it deserves and not immediately say they are over reacting or their view can’t be right. Listen, really listen and think before you speak.

One example of a fringe conversation going on is over at responsibilityproject.com where a recent blog tackled Renting Dogs.
