Cats Are Dogs Too

Yep I said it cats are dogs too. I know most of the interest is in dogs but lets not forget the millions of cat lovers out there as we slide into a new year. Those of you who know me know how much I love cats. The point of this post is just to remind everyone that in the rush to protect and love dogs we may forget that there are millions of cats left abandoned every year in the US. alone.  I’ve seen estimates stating that there are over 50 million feral cats in the US.

Over 50 million cats hiding in the tall grass, in abandoned buildings and cars and under bridges. How is this possible? Have the animal groups had no effect on this in all these decades they have been trying to educate people to the problem. Well the answer is of course they have had a dramatic effect. The problem is so huge it can seem almost insurmountable.
